TfL email update

Dear Mr Okelld,

Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 22-23 April. With only two London Underground lines affected by planned works, most of the network will be open with services running as normal. Please check if any of the following affect you.

London Marathon

The London Marathon is taking place on Sunday. This runs from Greenwich to The Mall via Charlton, Woolwich, Deptford, Rotherhithe, Bermondsey, Wapping, Shadwell, the Isle of Dogs, Poplar, Tower Hill, Embankment and Westminster.

There will be significant road closures along the route from 06:00 until 19:00. Some buses may be diverted or stop short of their normal destination. Tube and rail will be the best way to get around on the day, but stations in the vicinity may get busy at certain times. A number of Santander Cycles docking stations will also be out of service. For full details, please visit tfl.gov.uk/marathon
